Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's Photo Op With the Grandkids Was Chaotic

Getting 12 kids (under the age of eight!) to smile for a photo is no easy feat. Last month, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar sat down with their grandkids to snap a sweet picture together, and although it may have looked serene, it was anything but! Luckily, their daughter, Jill, is always willing to spill a good family secret — and that’s exactly what she did when she shared a behind-the-scenes video from the photo shoot.

The former Counting On star took to YouTube to post the 19-second clip on Aug. 3, and it’s, um, interesting. “Oh, my goodness!” new mom Joy-Anna Duggar said, as dozens of people stood around making animal noises. Yes, animal noises.

The photo-taking was so chaotic, in fact, that Jessa Duggar was spotted in the background of the Instagram snap trying to keep her son from falling. Several eagle-eyed fans noticed it too, and one commented at the time, “I love Jessa in the background holding little Henry up.” A second added, “Classic Jessa having to hold up the baby,” and a third laughed, “Lol Jessa’s head.”

Recently, Jill has been snitching quite a bit on her famous family. Late last month, the mother-of-two revealed that they refer to their age order lineup as “code O.” She commented on a pic of the Bates’ family brood and wrote, “This is so great!! We will have to do that at our next family photo session. Our lineup was called ‘code O’ lol.”

Not to mention, in 2014, Jill totally spilled the beans and confessed that her parents never courted. Gasp! “So my parents, they um, did the traditional dating,” the now 27-year-old dished. “So when they were engaged, they spent a lot of time alone together. They said they saved intimacy for marriage, but they kissed.”

She added, however, that they wished they would have waited. Suurrree. “They wish they would’ve saved more of each other for themselves, and so, I think it’s just neat to see the wisdom that they’ve spoken to our lives.”
