Catelynn Baltierra Reveals the Emotional Reason She’ll Make an Appearance on ‘Teen Mom’ Reunion

The Teen Mom OG star confirmed that she’ll stopping by the upcoming Teen Mom 2 reunion with her husband, Tyler, 27, to speak candidly about her past hardships.

Hoping to Help

During our interview, Catelynn revealed how excited she is to lend a helping hand to others dealing with anxiety because it is extremely tough to learn to live with.

Personal Experience

“I’m looking forward to going and speaking from my experience with struggling with panic disorder,” she revealed to In Touch exclusively.

Spreading Positivity

“I’m hoping I can be a beam of light for Chelsea [Houska] to let her know that things do get better and change if you put in the work,” Catelynn further explained.

Giving Advice

The MTV alum said she’ll even be giving Chelsea’s husband, Cole DeBoer, some suggestions on how to help during those really difficult days.

“I’m looking forward to Tyler coming and giving Chelsea’s husband some ideas of what to do as a spouse,” Catelynn tells In Touch.

Catelynn said that MTV reached out to her with an invitation for the reunion because of her “experience with anxiety and treatment.”

They even praised how “open and honest” she’s been while talking about her battle with a panic disorder on the show and via social media.

Similar Struggles

On this season of Teen Mom 2, Chelsea also revealed how much anxiety was impacting her life. “My medication is helping a little, but I do still struggle sometimes,” she said.

Keeping It Real

During one scene, it showed Chelsea on a road trip with her loved ones to Minneapolis for a concert and she later asks her husband to pull over as she was about to have a “major panic attack.”

Not Feeling OK

The reality star said she wasn’t “well” and explained how it felt like she couldn’t breathe. “I’m just like, not doing very good,” the mother of three admitted.

Anxiety Woes

Afterwards, she took to Twitter with a candid confession. “Anyone else experience this before going to large events?! I’m such an introvert … seems like it’s just getting worse as I get older,” Chelsea wrote.

Opening Up

When a fan expressed how they have felt the same before, Chelsea agreed. “It’s no joke. And I don’t think a lot of people really understand unless they’ve been through it,” the reality star replied.

Moving Forward

Just a few months ago, Catelynn revealed how she coped with it. “It’s OK to be like, ‘Wow, it sucks sometimes,’ and also feel the good too. But you have to feel the sad of it too.”

The Truth

“You can’t just brush it off,” she shared. “In order to get better, you have to feel whatever you’re feeling.”
