Catelynn Lowell Jokes She’ll ‘Knock the Whole Food Table Over’ If She Has Another Daughter

Looks like Catelynn Lowell isn’t too into the idea of being a #girlmom! Though the Teen Mom OG star currently has two daughters — and gave birth to a third that she placed for adoption back in the days of 16 and Pregnant — she’s already dreading having another. Though the reality TV mama isn’t currently expecting (or, at least, she hasn’t announced anything yet), it seems she’s already thinking about baby No. 4. In an Instagram post shared Sunday, October 6, she joked around about what her reaction would be if she doesn’t find out that she’s expecting a boy during her next pregnancy.

“If I get pregnant again and pink confetti comes outta my gender reveal balloon, I’m knocking the whole food table over,” read a meme that Catelynn, 27, shared. “Party over. Everybody go home.” In the caption of the post, she added, “Yep!” with laughing-crying emojis as well as a shrug. Though she later deleted the post, the sentiment isn’t new. Even before they found out baby Vaeda’s gender, they’ve been talking about wanting a son.

“[We] both want a boy for sure,” Catelynn told Us Weekly in September 2018, speaking on behalf of herself and her husband, Tyler Baltierra. In 2015, after daughter Nova’s birth, the dad admitted as much. “When I found out I was having a girl, and not a boy, my first thought was, ‘Damnit.’ I really wanted a boy so bad,” he shared. Luckily, he came around. “Now that she’s here, I can’t even picture not having a girl. It’s weird, but I was pissed at first.”

Of course, when it came to Vaeda, both parents were just happy to have a healthy child at all. After suffering a miscarriage in 2017, the little girl was the couple’s rainbow baby. But they’ve already talked about trying again and continuing to grow their family. “Tyler and I both want a boy, so we’re definitely gonna try again,” she said in January. “I think we’re just gonna go right for No. 4 right after this one’s born. … We wanna be done before we’re 30, you know?”

Could the fact that the mom is talking about a future gender reveal be a hint that they’re back on track with that plan? We don’t know about you guys, but we’ll be keeping an eye out for a big announcement from this happy couple.
