Before she passed away, Beth Chapman‘s last Instagram post was wishing a happy birthday to her oldest daughter, Cecily Chapman, so it seems fitting now that Cecily is honoring her mom in return. Though the reality star’s family members revealed that she’s been struggling with a “heavy heart” in the wake of her mom’s passing, it seems she’s finally been able to start opening up and speaking out. On Monday, July 22, Cecily paid tribute to her mom’s “last work” with a sweet post on her Instagram Story.

Sharing a clip of the Dog’s Most Wanted trailer that dropped earlier that day, Cecily, 26, wrote, “Her last work 💖. She was so proud of this show/season.” The series, which follows the Duane “Dog” Chapman‘s posse as they hunt down bad guys, also served to document the end of Beth’s life as she spent time with her family, coordinated bounty hunts, lost her hair and spent time in the hospital. Determined to “die in her boots” if she had to go, Beth stayed as active as she could until her last waking day.

That wasn’t the only tribute Cecily had to share. Though her sister, Bonnie Jo Chapman, revealed that she’d been too distraught to speak at Beth’s memorial, the blonde beauty has since started to share how she’s feeling with fans. “I wait patiently for you to visit me in my dreams; haven’t seen you yet,” the 26-year-old told her late mom in an emotional post shared Saturday, July 20. “I wake up every morning thinking it’s still not real. People say I was your rock, but you were mine. We did everything together. I still can’t see my life without you in it!”

Luckily, Beth will always be a part of her daughter’s life, and her legacy and the love she shared will be carried on by other members of the family. The star’s little sister, Bonnie, also shared her grief. “Love you, sissy,” she responded to the post. “I haven’t seen her either. She’s probably just trying to think of the words to tell us.” Cecily’s sister-in-law Jamie Pilar Chapman also chimed in. “She loves you and will always love you,” she wrote. “Even when you can’t see her, I assure you she’s there with you. Don’t ever think she isn’t.”
