A few weeks after Beth Chapman‘s death, her daughter Bonnie Jo Chapman assured fans that her dad wouldn’t be remarrying for a fifth time. Now, days after Duane ‘Dog’ Chapman was spotted on what seemed to be a date, she’s shutting down the rumors that he’s seeing anyone else. On Saturday, August 10, the Dog’s Most Wanted star was photographed at a restaurant having dinner with an unknown woman. The next day, his daughter took to Instagram to address the pics.

“[I’m] pissed on my father’s behalf that he can’t go on a business dinner without someone speculating he’s on a date,” Bonnie, 20, wrote on her Instagram Story on Sunday, August 11. “Leave our family alone, please. Leave my father alone. Let him try to continue our business in peace.” The Dog the Bounty Hunter star did take the opportunity to explain a little more, though. “If you really wanna know who she is, she’s a member of our crew,” she told fans. “Dad was out with eight other people at that dinner.”

Back in July, the famous couple’s daughter said that dad Dog had “found his soulmate” in mom Beth, and because of that, he wouldn’t remarry for a fifth time. “No one can replace her in his heart. Their love was one of a kind, it made me believe love truly exists,” she said during an Instagram Q&A. Her 66-year-old father echoed similar sentiments during an interview with Entertainment Tonight. “For two to three years, [Beth] knew this might happen,” he said, “So she would say, ‘Who is going to sit next to you?’ And I said, ‘No one.'”

Explaining how Beth prepared him to be alone, he said they discussed how he would never see someone else. “Big Daddy, you better not let another girl take my place,” he says his wife told him. His response? “I said, ‘I won’t.'”
