Wait, What? Jenelle Evans Claims Barbara and David Suddenly Get Along: “That Took Forever”

Well, this is random! Apparently, things are now hunky-dory between Barbara Evans and David Eason. Jenelle Evans took to Twitter on Thursday, Aug. 16 to reveal that the two are finally getting along after years of turmoil.

“Guess who gets along now? Babs and David. That took forever. #Annoying,” the Teen Mom 2 star wrote on the social media platform, before adding, “She noticed he’s very ‘handy’ and appreciates that. So far so good!”

Fans, however, aren’t buying it. After all, the reunion special aired earlier this week and Babs revealed that she literally fears for her life because of David. “I’m going to be the first one shot cause I live closest,” the 65-year-old said of Jenelle’s husband, who is known for his love of guns. “It scares me. He could come over and kill me any time.” 

One person wrote, “I’ll wait to hear that from Barb as I don’t believe it.” Another agreed writing, “No way. She still believes he’s dangerous,” and a third simply chimed in, “#FakeNews.” 

Jenelle and David tied the knot back in September 2017, but his relationship with his mother-in-law has always been strained. In fact, Barbara wasn’t even invited to the wedding. In an interview with People at the time, Babs said, “She’s been saying she’s having her wedding, running around with her family of friends, but you know what she says? ‘My mother Barbara is not invited.’ She’s not inviting me to her own wedding. It’s very painful.” Welp, here’s to hoping this is #RealNews!
