Ya Know, Jenelle Evans Didn’t Botha Invitin’ Her Motha Barbara to Her Wedding!
Just when we thought Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans and her mom, Barbara Evans, might be ready to make amends, the reality star mama revealed that she didn’t get an invite to her daughter’s upcoming fall nuptials. In an interview with People, Babs said, “She’s been saying she’s having her wedding, running around with her family of friends, but you know what she says? ‘My mother Barbara is not invited.’ She’s not inviting me to her own wedding. It’s very painful.”
Fans of the MTV show know all too well that the relationship between Barbara and Jenelle has been strained for years. Currently, Barbara has custody of her son, Jace, and in a recent text exchange, she expressed her frustrations with their arrangement. “You only let me have him when it’s convenient for you like when you need to go out of town or have me watch him,” she said. “It’s ridiculous.”

In July, the reality star and her soon-to-be hubby announced their wedding date on Instagram — Sept. 23, 2017. She wrote, “I’m ready to make my life forever with you.” So sweet! Now that the date is inching closer, she reportedly picked up her wedding dress. A source close to the 25-year-old told Radar Online, “She bought it from a boutique in New York. The dress is made of a thick lace material. It’s white, full-length and fitted.” We can’t wait to see it on the big day!
The former drug addict — who recently revealed she nearly died of an overdose — seems to be in a much better place these days. She and David just bought a home together and she’s enjoying the littler things in life, like decorating her home. In a blog post, she said, “I have also loooved finding antique furnishings for our home and you guys seem to really be liking some of my decorations so I just want to say thank you,” she gushed. “This is my first time decorating and arranging a home my way, so to see the positive comments has been amazing.”
We’re so happy for the star! With all the positives in her life lately, we hope she’ll try to work on mending her relationship with Babs and send her an invite before it’s too late.
