Look out, Barbara EvansDavid Eason‘s mama is coming for ya! Mary Jo recently defended her son after the Teen Mom 2 star revealed she was “so so so worried” about Jenelle Evans‘ safety. During the reunion special, which aired on Monday, Aug. 13, Barbara didn’t hold back regarding how she felt about David’s anger and his love of guns.

“I’m going to be the first one shot cause I live closest,” the 65-year-old feared. “It scares me. He could come over and kill me any time.”

Mary Jo, however, wasn’t buying it. She told The Hollywood Gossip in response, “I don’t like to comment on all of this because someone will be there to tell me they know more than I do about my own son!” She added, “My son does not beat Jenelle or boss her around! He doesn’t beat the children!”

She then addressed J’s mom directly. “Barb, you know he doesn’t! Tell the truth and shame the devil! You should be trying to help your daughter and her family.”

Fans have long worried about Jenelle, whose husband has seemingly shown signs of aggression on the MTV show. Back in June, several fans took to Twitter to voice their opinions after David yelled at his children on camera. “We’re going home because you don’t know how to f–king act right,” he cursed at them. “You happy now? You better be!” In response, one user wrote, “DAVID AND JENELLE FROM TEEN MOM 2 ARE SO AWFUL TO THEIR KIDS.” Another added, “David from Teen Mom 2 acts sooo crazy. Lol dudes got issues,” and a third chimed in, “If David kills Jenelle and all of the kids MTV should be held accountable. They should’ve intervened a long time ago. Those kids safety should be priority one!!!”

Still, Jenelle continues to defend her man. She recently told a troll who urged her to run from the situation, “Dear Whoever You Are, I’ve been through many many controlling, emotionally, and psychically abusive relationships,” she tweeted. “My husband does not ‘crush me,’ hurt me, or abuse me in any way. I did run away from many diff men and choose to start over and fresh every single time.” When another fan claimed there were “tell-tale” signs of abuse, Jenelle quickly clapped back adding, “Uhm… well he doesn’t scare me. Don’t make a statement like that unless it’s truly factual. As long as I’m happy that’s ALL that matters, holy s–t.”
