‘Little People, Big World’ Star Amy Roloff Fires Back After Troll Says Her Dog ‘Really Needs a Grooming’
Don’t mess with Amy Roloff! The Little People, Big World star took to Instagram on Thursday, April 4, to share a frightening story about her dog, but when one hater chose to slam the mother-of-four, she quickly shot back.
“Oh my. Guess what I almost ran into and it ran right in front of me? A big lanky coyote on the farm. Of course, Felix ran after him! 😳” the 54-year-old captioned a pic with her pup following the scary encounter. “What in the world was he thinking. Wasn’t sure what would or could happen. The closest I’ve been to a coyote. I was scared. Glad I still get to hang onto my rescue dog Felix after that!” Yikes. She included the hashtags, “#farmlife,” “#felixmyrescuedog, “#walkingandhiking” and #amyroloffssecondact.”
In response, however, one troll added their unwarranted opinion: “Felix really needs a grooming Amy,” they sassed, to which she responded, “I know right! He’s going to get all cleaned up and looking g [sic] spiffy for Easter.”
Sigh. The clapback came just three days after she was told by another commenter that she was wearing an unflattering shirt. “Not a flattering shirt, Amy,” they wrote. She replied by writing, “Hmm … well, I tried,” along with a blushing emoji. Kill ’em with kindness, right Amy?
They recently divorced mama likely isn’t letting the haters get to her too much, though. After all, she just released a new book titled Amy Roloff: A Little Me.
“My big announcement — my book is finally here and ready for you to pre-order Amy Roloff: A Little Me,” she wrote on Instagram on Monday, April 1. “I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. So much of me is in this book. It’s sometimes raw, funny, real and definitely vulnerable. A glimpse into my life growing up to now and the challenges I’ve faced and overcome. I wanted to share it with you and can’t wait for you to read it.”
We can’t wait either! And for the record, we think your dog looks freakin’ adorable.
