Adam Busby and Wife Danielle Brace for Hurricane Laura After He Returns Home ‘Early’ to His Girls
OutDaughtered star Adam Busby and wife Danielle are bracing for Hurricane Laura by staying “hunkered down” with the kids as the tropical storm strengthens. The reality TV dad took to Instagram with an update on Wednesday, August 26, hours after revealing he was “trying to get back to [his] girls early.”
Adam, 38, shared a new photo with his longtime love relaxing on the couch in the comfort of their home. “Roast in the oven and watching the weather channel. Praying that the winds die down, because Laura is going to be pretty catastrophic. #GoAwayLaura #HurricaneLaura #Itsabuzzworld,” he wrote.
On August 25, the mom of six, 36, posted a video of palm trees blowing in the wind. “… And it … slowly begins,” she wrote, before sharing a memo for her loved ones and other locals. “My lake Charles friends and family … Please be safe! Evacuate! We all remember Hurricane Rita, and Laura is going to be just as devastating!”
Danielle later admitted she is “freaking out” because the storm is “the real deal,” but noted they are preparing for it as best they can.
“Buzz and Papa are still boarding up windows around the house … but man!! Keeping 10 girls entertained… [might] as well let them have a quick swim before the hurricane hits,” she captioned a photo of the girls splashing around in the pool together.
As of today, Hurricane Laura was determined to be an “extremely dangerous” Category 4 storm as it barrels toward the coasts of Louisiana and Texas. “Little time remains to protect life and property,” the National Hurricane Center revealed.
When one of Adam’s followers said the “Houston area should be just fine,” the TLC alum pointed out he wasn’t worrying about his brood so much as he was about family and friends in the Lake Charles area, where they are expected to get a “direct hit.” He also confirmed his parents, sister and grandmother are staying with them at this time.
The doting father revealed they were previously going to evacuate the area, but “since it took a turn east,” they are now “going to ride it out.”
