90 Day Fiance’s Nicole Nafziger Shuts Down Claim She ‘Lies’ About Everything, Including Azan’s Name
Another day, another hater trying to throw shade at 90 Day Fiancé alum Nicole Nafziger. The Florida native shut down claims she constantly “lies” after sharing a new photo of her daughter, May, following her return to America from an extended trip to visit Azan Tefou (a.k.a. Hassan M’Raouni) in Morocco.
“Why are you [lying] about his name? His name is NOT Azan. It’s HASSAN. You lie about everything!” the shady commenter wrote. “I don’t lie about that,” Nicole, 26, fired back on Wednesday, August 19. “I call him Hassan all the time. Some people don’t like to use their real name on the show. That’s what he decided in the beginning four years ago.”
The couple famously met via a dating app and they appeared on 90 Day Fiancé twice before returning for the spinoff 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?
Nicole has since been met with criticism again after posting another heartwarming selfie with her 5-year-old. “No matter what’s going on around us we know ourselves more than anyone else,” she wrote in the caption. “Only you can tell the story through your eyes. Stay true to yourself and the loved ones around you.”
A different social media user jumped at the chance to address a rumor they heard, which circulated online. “All we wanna know is who is Azan’s wife?” the person asked and she set the record straight, replying, “He doesn’t have one.”
“If he was married at 19, then why didn’t it say that on his papers when we were doing the K-1 [visa]?” the reality star continued in another response. “You have to have a paper that says you’ve never been married. I saw that paper because I put the packet together. Therefore he doesn’t have a first wife [kiss emoji].”
Nicole recently returned to the United States after being forced to prolong her visit to North Africa because of the coronavirus pandemic travel bans. She arrived back in America on August 10 after her five-month stay with Azan.
During the unexpectedly long trip, Nicole’s mom, Robbalee Nafziger, defended the season 5 alum after naysayers claimed she “abandoned” her daughter.
“There was no abandonment,” Robbalee replied in July, noting it was nice to have May around “while her mommy [was] away.”
