He’s precious! Paul Staehle and his wife, Karine, recently welcomed a bouncing baby boy and although their son, Pierre, had to be hospitalized for a few days, he’s now “home safe.” The 90 Day Fiancé alum shared an adorable photo of their bundle of joy via Instagram Stories and later showed off the new crib they got. The reality star is now enjoying every minute with his son and it looks like he’s embracing daddy duty to the fullest. Scroll through the gallery for more details!

New Addition

Paul, 35, and his wife Karine, 23, were overjoyed to welcome their first child together on March 22. Pierre was 6.9 pounds and 19.7 inches at birth.

Bittersweet Time

Even though it was an exciting time for the lovebirds, Paul later revealed that Pierre was born with jaundice. This meant Pierre needed further medical attention and would need to stay in the hospital for a bit longer.

In the Hospital

Paul revealed things were starting to look up in a hopeful update on March 27. “I was able to get the amazing doctor who delivered Pierre to come check on him and Karine,” the TLC alum wrote.

Great News

“Blood results are now normal,” Paul continued. “He will be released asap tonight, hopefully the latest at the morning.”

Baby Bliss

The reality star also said Pierre’s skin no longer looked yellow. “Health wise, Pierre seems a lot better,” Paul added.

Bundle of Joy

Much to the delight of fans, the doting daddy shared a photo of Karine and their son resting at the hospital, adding heart emojis to the snap. Look how cute Pierre is!

Home Sweet Home

Paul followed up with some more good news on March 28, confirming that “Pierre and Karine are both home safe.” He added, “Karine is recovering well.”

Focusing on the Positive

Karine previously said she’s been focusing on resting and healing. “I am fine, and happy, even with the hard time I have had,” she told UsWeekly.

Silver Lining

“It was super hard, but now everything is fine because the baby is calm and he is breastfeeding well,” the new mama added.

Catching Some Zzz’s

Now, their bundle of joy is back in the comfort of their home. Paul proudly showed off their snazzy new crib after revealing they saved up for the item.

Starting a Campaign

In February 2019, the reality star let fans know they were accepting digital gifts as part of an “online baby shower” for their son via GoFundMe and PayPal.

Showing Appreciation

“We’re missing a very important item,” Paul said about what they were hoping to purchase. “We are actually saving up to buy a crib right now. We really appreciate everybody who has contributed.”

Gearing up for Parenthood

The reality star dad even gave a tour of Pierre’s room, which was just painted blue at the time. He showed off a stroller, car seat, diapers and more.

A New Chapter

Karine gave birth to their son in Manaus, Brazil, so it looks like they’ll be stationed there for now, despite their initial hopes to come to the United States.
