When it comes to pregnancy and motherhood, sometimes women just can’t win. That must be how Paola Mayfield of 90 Day Fiancé fame is feeling because she epically shut down mommy-shamers in a recent Instagram post.

Everything is growing so much and it is not only my belly🙈 I thought it was going to be hard to see all of these changes but to be honest I’ve been enjoying being pregnant, I feel lucky and blessed to have such an amazing pregnancy. I’ve been using the extra delicious calories to build muscle while working out💪🏻 but of course I’ve gained weight😏 but to be honest that doesn’t bother me at all because at the end I know how to get back to the way I was and I like it #noregrets the most important is that my little angel is growing strong and healthy 🤰🏻🙌🏼 *Before the #momshaming start with the blah blah blah comments. Let me tell you this. No, I’m not worried what my kid’s friends will say about me when they see my photos or videos, that is way down the road for me to even worry about. Plus, I haven’t even pushed this baby out yet lol!😂 I’m not changing just because I’m pregnant or becoming a mom, I was proud before of who I am and what I’ve done so there’s nothing to be ashamed of😏 #liveandletlive #healthypregnancy #lovingmypregnantbody

Paola began her lengthy caption on Monday, Nov. 5: “Everything is growing so much and it is not only my belly🙈 I thought it was going to be hard to see all of these changes but to be honest I’ve been enjoying being pregnant, I feel lucky and blessed to have such an amazing pregnancy.” Which is really great, because not all women have such an easy time when they’re expecting.

Paola continued, “I’ve been using the extra delicious calories to build muscle while working out💪🏻 but of course I’ve gained weight😏 but to be honest that doesn’t bother me at all because at the end I know how to get back to the way I was and I like it #noregrets the most important is that my little angel is growing strong and healthy.”

And it was after that statement that Paola went off on mommy-shamers. “Before the #momshaming start with the blah blah blah comments. Let me tell you this. No, I’m not worried what my kid’s friends will say about me when they see my photos or videos, that is way down the road for me to even worry about.” Paola likely wrote that because in the video she shared, she’s wearing underwear and a small top. I say, if she wants to rock that while she’s pregnant, all power to her, but I can see why she’d try to get ahead of any negative comments. Especially because this is not the first time Paola has dealt with mommy-shaming during her pregnancy.

Paola then concluded her post by writing, “I’m not changing just because I’m pregnant or becoming a mom, I was proud before of who I am and what I’ve done so there’s nothing to be ashamed of😏 #liveandletlive #healthypregnancy#lovingmypregnantbody.”

Paola — who is expecting her first child with her husband, Russ Mayfield, announced the good news back in July with a statement to Us Weekly. “This is the most amazing feeling ever! We can’t believe we are going to be parents — we are already so in love with our baby,” the couple said in an interview with the outlet. “We are ready for this new adventure and we know it will bring us closer together. God has blessed us again, and this time, we are going as strong as our baby’s heartbeat!”

We’re so happy for them! And the truth is, people are going to judge no matter what Paola does. As long as she’s comfortable with what she’s posting on social media for the world to see, and ready to deal with anything that comes of it “down the road,” that’s all that really matters.
