’90DF’ Star Nicole Reveals the *True* Reason Why She and Azan Won’t Return for Another Season

Nicole, 25, opened up about her relationship with Azan on the recent season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, having last appeared on the tell-all special which aired in July.

Even though many viewers were hoping to see them on upcoming episodes, it looks like the dynamic duo will be taking a break from filming. The Florida native explained why they are holding off for now.

Clearing the Air

While responding to swirling rumors about their romance, Nicole spilled the tea. “Is it true that you and Azan won’t be on TLC anymore because you were physically violent with him?” one fan asked in the comment section of her new post.

Not Filming

“No. We aren’t going to be on another season because we chose not to go on again right now,” the mother of one clarified. The couple is still going strong to this day and they will soon be celebrating four years together.

Making It Work

Nicole recently gushed over how far they have come, noting how difficult it is to share their story with the world sometimes. In August, Nicole shared a photo showing her video chat with her daughter, May, and Azan.

“I love nights like this,” she began. “Ups and downs, rumors, tears, fights, love, connection, faith, Love. We’ve been through it all.”

“Our Journey is longer then others but that doesn’t make it less true to each other. Just means we get stronger along the way,” she continued. “One day we’ll never have to leave each other’s side and it will be amazing.”

“Until then I’ll continue to support you as you support me. I love you @justazan,” Nicole concluded. As viewers may recall, the couple met via a dating app, and Nicole eventually hopped on a plane to Morocco to meet Azan.

Wedding Bells

This summer, the reality star was planning to get married to Azan and stay in Morocco after applying for permanent residence as the spouse of a Moroccan citizen. However, the plans ended up falling through.

Switching It Up

Nicole was even considering enrolling her daughter, May, into a school there before the academic year started, but things have changed since then. The TLC alum decided to register May into a school based in the United States after all, a source previously confirmed to In Touch exclusively.

Getting Situated

The 90DF alum picked up a job working at a local Starbucks and now has her own apartment where she and May reside. Even so, Nicole and Azan still have plans to live together in America when all of the pieces fall into place.

“The good thing is her life is getting back on track,” the insider said. “She’s starting this new phase of living on her own, working, and putting May into school.”

Exuding Confidence

It looks like Nicole is finding a balance with everything, as she recently shared a stunning new photo showing off her weight loss progress. “When your daughter tells you you’re a princess and takes a picture,” she captioned the snap.

Staying Determined

Several of her costars were raving over her new portrait, including Molly Hopkins. She sweetly commented, “Looking great!!!”
