Friendly exes? 90 Day Fiancé stars Jason Hitch and Cassia Tavares were just one of the many couples who didn’t quite get their happily ever after once they appeared on the show. Earlier this year, Jason and Cassia filed for divorce, but they put the proceedings on hold to work on their issues But ultimately, they could not save their marriage, and Jason shared an update on their relationship in a new interview.

“Things are cordial and civil,” Jason, 42, told Radar Online. “I got the papers on Saturday on our four year anniversary. She lives with me, she’s in the house right now. She can stay here as long as she needs.”

Jason said that it was “lack of communication” that eventually led to the demise of their marriage, but he isn’t letting that make him bitter or jaded. He said he is hopeful he will “get married in the future.”

“I’m not dating anyone right now, but I still believe in love,” Jason explained. “I’m a Hollywood ending type of guy. I’m going to work on my body, continue to read, continue to make money, I’ll figure it out!”

But one thing that Jason won’t be doing is going online to find his next wife and he most definitely is not interested in dating foreign women or going through the K-1 visa (aka the “fiancé visa) process again.

“I am highly confident I am not going overseas,” he said. “She will be from the Midwest!”

Meanwhile, Cassia, 27, seems to be trying to keep a low profile since their stint on Season 2 of TLC’s hit reality TV series back in 2014. The Brazilian native set her Instagram to private, but her bio suggests that she is spending her time away from her ex-husband by jetting around to cities like Tampa, Miami, New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago.
