’90 Day Fiancé’ Star Ricky Shares Cryptic Message — Is He Quitting The Franchise?

Guess this will be the last time fans will ever see Ricky on 90 Day Fiancé! His storyline was a first for the hit TLC reality TV franchise and it included a major plot twist. But now, after all of the messy drama that Ricky brought to Season 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, he shared a cryptic message seemingly hinting that he is not expecting to make a return to one of the franchise spin-offs in the future. It was honestly kind of hard for fans to keep up with Ricky this season. He originally traveled to Colombia to meet a woman named Melissa, who everyone thought was a catfish. Even though she turned out to be real, she ended up ghosting Ricky after their first date, so he moved on quickly to Ximena — a woman whom he met on the same dating website that he met Melissa, Colombian Cupid.

Ricky, 33, and Ximena, 27, ended up hitting it off — so much that he actually got down on one knee and proposed to Ximena on his last day in Colombia with the ring he bought for Melissa.

Things seemed to be going well for Ricky and Ximena, but he revealed on the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days tell-all that he had a complete change of heart about their relationship once he returned to Colombus, OH. Ricky ended up breaking up with Ximena and calling off their engagement  — and Ricky’s daughter Amber had a big influence on his decision.

“This whole situation was extremely difficult for her. Amber looks at my ex-wife as her mom. And one of the things that my ex-wife told me was, ‘Do you her to go from mom to mom to mom? I’m like, ‘You know what? She’s right,'” Ricky explained. “I don’t want Amber to go through that. So I’m giving it one more shot and see if my ex-wife and me [sic] can work things out.”
