’90 Day Fiancé’ Stars Paul And Karine Confirm Pregnancy And Reveal Their Baby’s Gender!
After months of rumors, 90 Day Fiancé stars Paul and Karine Staehle finally confirmed that they are pregnant! The couple revealed that they are expecting their first child together during the Season 2 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days tell-all, and they also revealed their baby’s gender in a special video announcement on TLCme.
“We are happily expecting a new pregnancy — and it’s very healthy,” Paul, 34, said in the TLCme clip, then Karine, 21, revealed that they’re expecting a baby boy.
Paul explained that they didn’t see their unborn child during their first ultrasound, so Karine was in denial that she was actually pregnant again. “Until she saw the baby on the ultrasound, she was in denial [that] she was pregnant. All the pregnancy visits have been very healthy,” Paul explained, and then he added some details about their unborn child’s temperament in the womb. “The baby is extremely active — the baby is just bouncing around. Really hyper.”
The excited dad-to-be explained that he was very excited that they will be having a boy because it will ensure that his last name will be carried on into the next generation, and he revealed what physical attributes Karine is hoping their child will inherit from each of them: she wants the baby to have her black hair and skin tone and Paul’s blue eyes.
Fans watched Paul and Karine go through a heartbreaking miscarriage earlier this season, so Baby Staehle is actually a rainbow baby. They also had a lot of fights and disagreements early on in their marriage, and they even thought about getting a divorce. But Paul said that their relationship is much more stable now. “We’re working as a very happy unit, Paul continued. “Communication is better, language is better, I still got a lot of work on my Portuguese, [but] Karine is doing well with her English.”
