90 Day Fiance Star Darcey Gets Daughters’ Blessings to Reunite With Tom: ‘Do What You Have to Do’
Kids approve! After 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star Darcey Silva had a pretty tense video chat conversation with her on-again, off-again long-distance boyfriend, Tom Brooks, she had to decide whether she wanted to accept his invitation to reunite in New York City so they could talk about the future of their relationship in person. In a sneak peek for the upcoming episode, the 45-year-old asked her daughters, Aniko and Aspen, for their advice and they gave their mama their blessing.
“I’m just really confused, I don’t know if I should even go to New York. I feel like he keeps wanting to give it a go, then the next minute [he’s] very vague and doesn’t really tell me much about his feelings and opening up. I don’t want to even have him come to Connecticut because I feel like something might not be right,” she admitted to her daughters.
But her daughter, Aspen, had some pretty sound advice for her mama. “If you feel that way, I think you need to go and talk to him about it,” she said. “You can’t keep hiding your feelings.”
Aniko added her two cents in. “I think you need to know what he’s really feeling to really accept what you’re feeling,” she told her mom. “You need to feel the energy, if the energy’s good. If it’s bad, then that’s like the final factor to decide what you really want.”
It seems like her daughters are wise beyond their years, and they also have been through a similar experience before with their mom’s ex-boyfriend, Jesse Meester. “Make sure to have your guard up because you don’t want to get hurt like you got hurt with Jesse, that was too hard for you,” Aniko told her mama.
“In the past, especially what my mom [had] gone through with Jesse, it was just a really hard toll on her,” Aniko said in her confessional. “I want her to be happy and find somebody that’s right for her,” Aspen interjected. “She deserves to be happy,” Aniko added.
During their chat, Darcey asked her daughters if they would mind if she did decide to go to New York to reunite with Tom. “Not at all,” they both agreed. “Do what you have to do,” Aspen added.
“I think I want to go meet Tom,” Darcey continued in her confessional. “I owe it to myself to see if we could be happy and work it out. But I don’t know if his motives and intentions of wanting to see me are real.”
