‘Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant’ Star Rachel Isn’t Sure Who Her Baby Daddy Is
She’s definitely got a story to tell. On this season of Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant, viewers get introduced to a new mom who’s joined the cast — Rachel Beaver. But what do we know so far about the newest girl to join the Teen Mom sisterhood?
Who Is Rachel?
When Rachel is introduced in her first clip for the MTV show, which the series shared on Twitter, she said she was 16 years old and 8 months pregnant. She’s from Madisonville, Tennessee. According to her Instagram, her baby, Hazelee Rae, was born in February 2019.
Is Rachel With the Father of Her Baby?
That’s unclear. Rachel explained in the video that she was unsure who the father of her baby even was initially. The clip introduced viewers to Drew, her ex and the young man she thinks is her baby daddy. But Rachel revealed, “I’ve been on and off with him and his best friend Jacob,” and that Drew is therefore not “convinced” her child is his. She even confessed at one point that she’s not sure she can even get Drew to be in the delivery room with her.
“When I first found out I was pregnant, I had hoped Jacob was the father,” Rachel said. She explained to some of her family members that her conception date kept getting changed, so it was a possibility.
But things have soured between them because of Rachel’s continued relationship with Drew and the likelihood that the baby is Drew’s. “He just doesn’t wanna get attached. He’s had me blocked for almost a month now and I don’t think he’s coming back,” Rachel noted about Jacob.
Who Is Rachel’s Older Sister, Malorie?
In the video, Teen Mom fans are also introduced to Rachel’s older sister, Malorie Beaver. She’s also a young mom at 19, having had her baby 10 months previously. “She’s my best friend but she’s not exactly my role model,” Rachel said. “She goes out and parties a lot. And I’m not going to be like that when I have my baby.”
Are you intrigued by Rachel’s story? Teen Mom fans will just have to tune in to find out more about her, and what happened with her daughter and her relationships with both Drew and Jacob.
