Who is she? Actor Liam Hemsworth was seen holding hands with a “mystery woman” in New York City on Thursday, October 10. She was quickly identified as model Maddison Brown. Let’s take a closer look at the first women the public has seen Liam interested in since his separation from Miley Cyrus in August 2019.

Maddison is a 22-year-old model and actress who stars in the Dynasty reboot. She’s a fellow Aussie, and we can imagine how that might help Liam, 29, and the performer bond.

Aside from Dynasty, Maddison has also acted in Strangerland, The Kettering Incident and a TV movie called Go Big, according to her IMDB page. Strangerland was her film debut — she played Nicole Kidman’s teenage daughter. She told Women’s Wear Daily of working with Nicole, 52, “I was nervous but she was so warm and lovely. Nicole is someone who wants to nurture and support young actors and it was such a relief to be able to connect with her in a real way. I’ve heard stories about more established actors not taking too kindly to young talent, but with Nicole, it was nothing like that.”
Maddison also told i-D that she’s written scripts and is interested in directing. “I have a bunch of scripts that I’ve been writing, that I want to bring out at the right time,” she said.

It’s not clear whether Liam and Maddison are actually serious or just casually spending time together. After all, Liam and Miley, 26, didn’t break up that long ago. However, a source did tell Us Weekly that Liam is “open to meeting people.” The insider claimed that “He hasn’t been dating anyone,” but maybe that’s all changed now that he’s met Maddison. His ex has been in relationships with other people including Kaitlynn Carter and Cody Simpson since their split — perhaps Liam has decided it’s time to get back out there, too.
