Chris Hemsworth shared photos of his wife, Elsa Pataky, and friends Luke Munro, April Munro, Leah Grist and Aaron Grist on Instagram, and there was one notable addition to the shots — his brother, Liam Hemsworth. Liam, 29, smiled for his closeup in the series of photos just over a month after he and his now-estranged wife, Miley Cyrus, announced their split. See the photos for yourself in the gallery below!

What’s Best

Chris shared the photos weeks after news of Miley, 26, and Liam’s breakup broke. “Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time,” a representative for Miley said in a statement at the time. “Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”

Irreconcilable

Almost two weeks after news broke about the split, In Touch confirmed the actor filed for divorce. In the paperwork filed on August 21, Liam cited “irreconcilable differences” for the end of their relationship. Since then, Miley seems to have moved on with girlfriend Kaitlynn Carter, who also recently split from Brody Jenner.

At Peace?

On August 12, Liam posted on Instagram about the breakup. “Hi all,” he wrote. “Just a quick note to say that Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward. This is a private matter and I have not made, nor will I be making, any comments to any journalists or media outlets. Any reported quotes attributed to me are false. Peace and Love.” He certainly looks peaceful in the selfie his brother shared on September 12.
