Who Is Kayti Edwards? Inside Dax Shepard’s Alleged Mistress’ Dating History

Former model Kayti Edwards made some jaw-dropping claims during an explosive new interview on Dec. 13, alleging that she once hooked up with Dax Shepard back in 2009, behind now-wife Kristen Bell’s back. Kayti’s name may sound familiar to you, as she’s actress Julie Andrews’ 41-year-old granddaughter, and has also been romantically linked to another famous celebrity.

Kayti claims that she rekindled her romance with Dax in late 2009 at a private party in Hollywood, and at this point in time, the actor was dating Kristen for two years(they’d later marry in 2013). The former model told Daily Mail that she left the soirée with the Parenthood star and they went to a friend’s place in the area where she was house-sitting. “We went back and made love, we had sex twice and he stayed until the next morning,” Kayti alleges.

“I didn’t know he had a girlfriend at the time, he didn’t seem to care,” Kayti said. She reportedly first crossed paths with Dax, 43, in 2005 through mutual friends. The glamour model said they fell out of contact when she moved away to Hawaii. However, things took a steamy turn when they ran into each other at the party in 2009. “I saw him and we hadn’t seen each other in a few years,” Kayti said. She claims that it didn’t take long for things to heat up between the two of them.

“There was a photo booth and I remember people were standing in line for this photo booth, and Dax grabbed me and was like ‘let’s pick up where we left off’ and he threw me into this photo booth with him. And it was kind of like this make out session in this photo booth that we were being overly dramatic,” she claimed. Kayti said she’s sharing her side of the story because it was already going to be leaked, noting how she wishes nothing but the best for the pair. “I would rather tell the true story than have this picture floating around and people running with it,” she said.

Dax has since denied the claims to the fullest. “Hey Daily Mail, that photo is 13 years old, not 9. Also, Kayti has sold stories to tabloids about Matthew Perry, Jack Osbourne, Kid Rock, and now me,” he captioned a screenshot of the story about the alleged affair on Dec. 13. The actor concluded his statement with, “I look forward to her next one. Fingers crossed it’s about my #1, Brad Pitt :).”

Back in February, it was reported the Sound Of Music star’s granddaughter was involved in a different love triangle. Reports surfaced claiming Kid Rock was allegedly having a decade-long affair with Kayti, at the time he was involved with fiancée Audrey Berry. The 47-year-old rocker allegedly first met Kayti not long after he’d divorced Pamela Anderson and started seeing Audrey. However, Kayti’s claiming that’s not the case in her latest interview with Daily Mail.

“Tabloids have painted me out to be this Holly home-wrecker, you know the mistress, but they don’t know the back story, they don’t know the truth,” Kayti said. “The same with Kid Rock, Kid Rock and I dated before he was with this woman and before I was married, we dated and remained friends. So it’s a big stretch to say that I was his mistress for ten years when I only saw him a couple of times.” Kayti is now married and living in Lake Arrowhead.
