Julie Andrews’ Granddaughter Kayti Edwards Claims Dax Shepard Cheated On Kristen Bell With Her

This isn’t the kind of holiday surprise we were hoping for. On Dec. 13, former model Kayti Edwards, who is the granddaughter of legendary actress Julie Andrews and also allegedly had a decade-long affair with Kid Rock, claimed that Dax Shepard cheated on his now-wife Kristen Bell with her back in 2009 — two years into his relationship with the Frozen star, but before they got married.

Kayti told Daily Mail that she ran into Dax at a private party in Hollywood, and shared photos making out with the Parenthood star in a photo booth. After the event, the pair allegedly returned to a home she was housesitting, where they hooked up. “We went back and made love, we had sex twice and he stayed until the next morning,” she claimed. “I didn’t know he had a girlfriend at the time, he didn’t seem to care.”

Kayti explained that she dated Dax briefly four years earlier, in 2005. “He’s just a normal person, but he’s funny. I was attracted to his confidence,” she remembered, saying they were connected by mutual friends. Though they reportedly hooked up a few times, Kayti said nothing more came of it, and then she moved away to Hawaii. But when she ran into him at the party, things allegedly heated right back up.

“I saw him and we hadn’t seen each other in a few years,” she said. “So it was like a very friendly, ‘Oh my gosh, I haven’t seen you in forever. Nice to see you.'” But the pleasantries quickly took a steamy turn, according to Kayti. “There was a photo booth and I remember people were standing in line for this photo booth, and Dax grabbed me and was like ‘let’s pick up where we left off’ and he threw me into this photo booth with him. And it was kind of like this make out session in this photo booth that we were being overly dramatic,” she said. The photos seem to show Dax with his arms wrapped around Kayti, making out passionately and licking her tongue.

Dax reportedly got nervous when he left the booth and realized there was a photo on the outside. Kayti said she suspected he had a girlfriend because he told her she could “hang onto” the photos because he couldn’t “take them home.”Dax got engaged the same year, and only saw Kayti once after the proposal, when he met her for coffee.

For his part, Dax is calling the story BS. He took to Instagram to insist that the photos were actually from around when they first dated in 2005, and therefore he never cheated on Kristen. “I don’t want anything to do with Dax. I wish him well. I wish them to be happy,” she said. “I hope that they’re happily married. I mean they have children. So my wish is that they’re happy and stable for the kids.”
