Caylee Anthony’s Mysterious Father Died In A Car Crash, Casey Says
Who is Caylee Anthony’s father? It’s the question people have been asking since her body was found in a garbage bag back in 2011. Although we may never know for sure, Radar Online reports that Casey once told friends the mystery man died in a car accident.
In Reelz’s new docuseries, Casey Anthony: Her Friends Speak, her former roommate, Clint House, said it was the only detail Casey ever shared about him. “She had told us that Caylee’s father had died in an accident,” Clint said. “But who knows if that was true or not.”
The toddler’s mother was eventually acquitted in the murder, but her ex-friend is still having a hard time moving on. During another part of the series, Clint visited the wooded site where Caylee’s remains were spotted for the first time.
“I’ve never been here before,” he said through tears. “I’ve stayed away from this and this is too hard to see because I knew this is how I was gonna feel. It’s like somebody just drove by and just threw her body into the closest place they could.”
But Clint’s not the only one who knows very little of Casey’s baby daddy. An insider revealed to People in June, “I don’t know who the father was. She doesn’t talk about it. She will never tell anyone. She’ll take that secret to the grave,” they said, while hinting that Casey might not even be sure who he was. “If she knows who the father is, she’s not telling.”
As for Casey’s own father? They’re not on speaking terms anymore.
“I don’t want to see her, I don’t want to talk to her,” he told Crime Watch Daily last year. “I’ve always said that I would never talk to my daughter. I actually lost my daughter and my granddaughter in 2008.”
