George Anthony was involved in a serious car crash over the weekend, the Orlando Sentinel reports. According to the outlet, the father of Casey Anthony drove off the side of the road Saturday and flipped his car.

In the crash report obtained by In Touch, George was driving a 1999 Toyota 4-Runner when he went off the right shoulder and lost control of the vehicle. When he tried to swerve back onto the road, his car flipped several times and crossed three lanes before finally stopping on the median.

Following the incident, he reportedly told troopers that he did not remember what happened prior to the crash, which means a medical condition could be to blame. The report did not, however, specify what the issue may have been.

George was taken to Halifax Health Medical Center after a trooper described his injuries as “incapacitating.”

Casey was acquitted in 2011 of first-degree murder in the death of her two-year-old daughter, Caylee. Although George never faced charges, he has publicly spoken out about the case that catapulted his family to unwanted fame.

“Casey knows what happened to Caylee. I feel that in my heart,” George said in an interview with Crime Watch Daily last year. “Do I feel that she took my granddaughter’s life? I don’t want to believe that, but Casey is the one that can answer that question.” He added, “I don’t want to see her, I don’t want to talk to her. I’ve always said that I would never talk to my daughter. I actually lost my daughter and my granddaughter in 2008.”

As for Casey? She doesn’t care. “She’s a grown woman, she’s fine with that,” a source recently told People. “Casey’s parents have always given these interviews. From day one, they have done this. And for what? Casey just rolled her eyes at the things they tell the media.”
