Casey Anthony Reportedly Has ‘No Intention’ To Reach Out To Dad After Scary Car Accident

Looks like Casey Anthony isn’t hoping to repair that strained relationship with her father any time soon. Over the weekend, her dad George Anthony was in a car accident that left him “incapacitated,” but reports are saying that the 32-year-old hasn’t even reached out. Per People‘s story, a source close to Casey admitted that she has no plan to do so either. The father and daughter haven’t talked in a long time, and even a scary incident like a car accident isn’t about to change that.

“She didn’t talk to him for years before the accident,” the source shared. “Why would she talk to him now? It wouldn’t make any sense. She has no intention to talk to him.”

The news isn’t particularly surprising, even though the car accident was pretty serious. According to the crash report In Touch obtained, George was in the car when he lost control, over-corrected, and the vehicle flipped several times. He was taken to the hospital to be checked out and told troopers on the scene that he didn’t remember what had caused the initial crash, leading to suspicions that there may have been a medical issue to blame.

But her father’s injuries — and whatever potential medical condition may have caused the crash — didn’t concern Casey enough to pick up the phone. Then again, her dad has also shared in the past that he has no interest in hearing from her. “I don’t want to see her, I don’t want to talk to her,” he told Crime Watch Daily in 2017. “I’ve always said that I would never talk to my daughter. I actually lost my daughter and my granddaughter in 2008.”

The 32-year-old seems to be moving on just fine without her parents, though. Reports last month indicated that she was thinking about having more kids — and that she has a new boyfriend, too. “She’s very good at living her life and to hell with what other people think,” a source told People. “If she wants to have another kid, she’ll have another kid. She doesn’t care what you or I or anyone else thinks.”
