Ever since he split from Molly Hopkins, former 90 Day Fiancé star Luis Mendez has been living a relatively quiet life. But he did have one big update to share with his followers and friends. Back in September 2018, he tied the knot for a second time. But to who? And how’s the newly-married couple doing a few months down the road? He remarried in the fall.

In October, 2018, the star confirmed the news of his nuptials to <em>In Touch</em>. “Yes, I did get married. That was my wedding [on] Sept. 19,” Luis, 27, wrote. “I love this girl so much. She is so amazing.”

Who is she?

Though the groom is choosing to protect the identity of his new bride, we did get a couple hints about what she’s like. “She changed all life to happiness,” he continued. Now that’s high praise.

Luis has been rocking his ring.

Though he’s been shy about sharing photos of himself with his wife, the star has been more public about showing off his ring, posing with his hand on his chest in November 2018. “Beautiful Sunday … Let’s go out? 😍😎” he wrote while looking at someone outside of the camera frame.

But we got more info from a surprising source.

Luis’ ex, Molly, had even more details to share. In an Instagram Live, she reacted to the news — and in doing so, she seemed to know more than most of the show’s fans, despite the fact that she and Luis weren’t in touch.

Molly spilled the beans.

“Luis got married to a Dominican lady in Jersey, best I can tell — I saw pictures,” she said in the clip. “She looks older than me, [she’s] from the Dominican Republic.”

But she threw some shade, too.

Considering how quickly Luis was remarried, some fans wondered if his new bride might be pregnant. And Molly was happy to fan the flames. “The divorce was final in May, it happened very quickly and five months later he’s married,” she said.

That’s when she weighed in.

“I think there’s rumors that she’s pregnant,” she said on The Tomorrow Show. “And she looks from the picture that I saw about five months pregnant so …”

But Luis seems happy.

He even shared some photos from his wedding on Instagram, though none of them featured the bride herself. “Amazing night. 😊Blessings,” he captioned one with some family members. “God bless my mom and dad,” he wrote on another.

He has shared one selfie, though.

In early November, 2018, he finally featured his beautiful bride on his Instagram Story — and fans got their first good look at her face. “Happy life, happy wife,” he captioned the photo.

It’s one of their few photos together.

In January 2019, he posted another one that showed him passionately kissing his bride. But the new post he shared had some followers questioning just how real the romance was.

Did he stop wearing his ring?

With his fingers positioned the way they were, fans couldn’t quite tell if he still had his ring on in this pic from January 20 — but some were pretty confident that he’d already ditched it.

His followers had something to say.

“Love how you cover your ring finger!” wrote one. “Doesn’t look like you have a ring on that finger? Go figure probably done with this one so fast too or she got wise!” Another asked, “Where’s your wedding band? Are you getting divorced again?”

His caption seemed to address the concerns.

“Everyone wants to be happy,” Luis wrote on the pic. “Me too. 😍😍😊😊😊😊😘😘😘 Enjoy this winter. I don’t have time for hate, bro. 😉” However, he didn’t actually address the questions.

So what’s going on?

His last relationship fell apart after he and Molly were married for only six months. She filed for divorce on January 23, 2018, but Luis has had previously left their home together. Fans has first-row seats to the marriage falling apart on Happily Ever After?

Things got messy.

Though Luis tried to come back and “fix everything” between them, it was too late. Eventually, there simply wasn’t much to be done — and the Dominican later accused Molly of domestic abuse while she accused him of using her.

How is he now?

Though the star seems to be working on bettering himself, even going to the gym and working on his physical transformation just like his ex, Molly has her doubts about how much he’s changed. “I feel [his new marriage] clearly shows he was possibly using me and my finances to get here because our divorce was final in May,” she told Us Weekly in October, 2018. “So he either already knew her and had a plan all along and I’m a fool, or we are both fools if she doesn’t know him, because I met Jekyll in the Dominican [Republic] and got Hyde here, or vice versa. Either way, may it work out because I’m glad he’s gone.”
