Wendy Williams was spotted celebrating her 55th birthday in New York City on Thursday, July 18, and the talk show host couldn’t stop smiling as she exited her car with a security guard. The DWTS alum wore a tiara with a black dress and Louis Vuitton sneakers — that she bought earlier that day via her Instagram Stories — for her big night out on the town. Blac Chyna even attended the festivities — the new besties became friends after the model appeared on her show in May.

“The average American spends so much time at work that there are a lot of workplace romances going on and things like that,” she said at the time about her first impression of the 31-year-old. “But, you know, I always say one word too many so I let that slip. I had no idea I would be single. And you know who I have casted as a new friend? Blac Chyna. Listen, she really had an impact on me, and I think she had one on you, too. I thought she was one way, you did, also.”

Love Is in the Air

Even though Wendy filed for divorce from Kevin in April, things seem to be looking up for the Ask Wendy author. “Well, I’m not on the market anymore,” she said on the Monday, July 8, episode of The Wendy Williams Show. “I don’t know how I’m doing! I’m not in love, but there’s somebody that I’m crazy about.”

The mom of one was also spotted out on Wednesday, July 17, wearing a pink dress and a tiara to pre-tape her show in the Big Apple. Wendy waved to the cameras as she exited the building and had a huge grin on her face.

Earlier that same day, Andy Cohen was a guest on her show, and he couldn’t help but compliment the New Jersey native. “Your husband was not my biggest fan, but I want you to know I have been cheering you on the last six years,” the 51-year-old dad of one said. “I’m happy to be back, and I’m so happy about Wendy in the city. You seem light as a feather!” We hope you had an awesome birthday, girl.
