According to a source close to Kevin, 47, and his ex-wife, the soon-to-be divorcé is “panicking about finances” in the wake of his split. Wendy, 54, filed for divorce on April 10, serving her then-husband with the paperwork the very next day. Months later, the source tells In Touch that he’s scrambling.

During their 21-year marriage, the 47-year-old “had free access to Wendy’s money and didn’t have a care in the world,” says the source. Now? “That’s not the case anymore,” they told In Touch. “She’s cut him off, and that means that Kevin is finally hurting for money.” It’s a huge change for the guy who had everything, adds the source: “He’s terrified he’s going to end up with nothing.” So he’s decided to do something about it. According to an eyewitness, Kevin was seen walking into L&L Jewelry Store in NYC on June 24 — and he was carrying a purple velvet sack.
