Tori Roloff Thanks Fans for Support in Message About Social Media: ‘It Can Be a Dark and Mean Space’
She’s grateful. Tori Roloff shared a sweet message for supportive fans on Instagram on January 8 and began the caption on a photo of her with her daughter, Lilah Ray, “I just wanted to jump on here and tell y’all how much I love you guys. There are days that social media can be a really dark and mean space but then there are other days (like today) where you all know how to make it positive.”
“I get so many nice messages and comments every day and I just want you guys to know I read them,” Tori, 28, continued. “They encourage me to be better and I strive to bring light to the dark with this social media thing 💗💗💗.”
The mom of two went on to say, “I really believe I’ve been given a gift with the amount of people I’m able to reach on a daily basis. It’s still crazy to me that I have over a million followers and that people care at all about me and my family. I’m such a ‘normal’ woman who was just kind of put in the spotlight by my family.”
Her life probably has changed a bit since she married Little People, Big World star Zach Roloff in July 2015. Tori has a platform now that she uses to share everything from beautiful photos of her kids, Lilah and Jackson, to posts where she got “real” with her followers in the most refreshing ways.
“I have done my best over the last ten years to be positive,” Tori added. “To share my life authentically and truthfully. To be a role model to as many people as I can. I want to look back on all of this and be proud of what I’ve left behind on social media for myself and my kids. As long as this place brings me joy, I’ll be here. Fans in the comments absolutely adored Tori’s message. “You make me smile any time I see your posts. You’re an amazing wife and mom,” one wrote. “Please don’t change, you’re a perfect person.” Ever humble, Tori responded, “Definitely FAR from perfect but thank you for your sweet words! 😘”
