And the winner is … Rutgers University! Teresa Giudice took to Instagram on Wednesday, March 6, to reveal her oldest daughter, Gia, is headed to college. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star shared a sweet snap of her 18-year-old surrounded by balloons, snacks and bookstore gear. TBH, it was super adorbs. Unfortunately, her father wasn’t able to celebrate. Keep scrolling to see the now-deleted photo.

“Congratulations @giudicegia I couldn’t be more proud of you!!! Thanks to all those who have supported us,” the proud mama, 46, wrote in the caption.

For some reason, though, Teresa deleted the image, likely due to backlash. The mother-of-four can’t seem to escape the wrath of the Internet these days, especially after she was spotted holding hands with a guy … who wasn’t her husband, Joe, 46.

In a new sneak peek of the Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion, Teresa confirmed she would leave him if, er, when he will be deported to Italy. “This man is the one and only love of your life, but what you’re saying is that you would split up … that’s what you’re saying,” host Andy Cohen asked her in the clip. After a long pause, the reality TV starlet dropped the bombshell, “I mean, unless my kids say, mommy, I want to move to Italy.”

She added, “Gia’s going to college next year; I haven’t spoken to Milania or Audriana about it, we haven’t gotten there yet, and Gabriella already voiced her opinion to me. She was like, ‘That would be so hard for me, mommy.’ She doesn’t speak the language. She’s like, ‘That would kill me even more.’”

Gia, Gabriella, 15, Milania, 13, and Audriana, 10, have “been through so much already,” she continued. “I’m not doing a long-distance relationship. I’m not doing it.”

The Bravolebrity then assumed her man would have a wandering eye. “You know, I want somebody with me every day. I know exactly what happens. You know, I’m sure he’ll be with other women. It happens. We do the long-distance thing; it’s not going to work. I’d be like, ‘Bye-bye.’”

Perhaps because she’s seemingly had a wandering eye herself these days. Teresa was spotted with Blake Schreck last month, who’s in his mid-20s.

On Saturday, February 16, the pair was seen “flirting, holding hands and cuddling,” a source told In Touch exclusively. “They looked really into each other and were having a wonderful time.”

That said, Teresa has denied any wrongdoing. “I took tons of pictures with tons of fans, so, I mean, I was hugging a lot of people,” she said. “A lot of people were touching me.”

In July 2013, both Joe and his wife were indicted on 39 counts of fraud and tax charges, later facing an additional two counts that November. (The couple had already dealt with financial woes for years and filed for bankruptcy in 2009.)

Teresa completed 11 months of a 15-month sentence and was released from prison on Dec. 23, 2015. However, her husband isn’t so lucky. A judge ordered the former TV dad to be sent back to his native country.

“Based upon the law, I find you deportable and ineligible for any kind of relief,” Judge John Ellington announced during the October 2018 court hearing. “Mr. Giudice, no matter how this turns out, I wish you the best. I decided this case as a matter of law.”

“I don’t understand. How I can be deported on this case?” Joe asked following the news. “If you will, I’ll tell you my side. I shouldn’t even be here right now.”

He then seemed to come to terms with the sentencing. “I have to go back and tell my kids this,” he said. “They’ve been waiting to hear from me.”

Joe will be released from prison this month. He is set to be deported and currently has an appeal pending. Luckily, Gia’s got the help of her supportive mama and sisters during this trying (albeit exciting) time.
