Boy, bye! Jenelle Evans’ husband, David Eason, shocked Teen Mom fans over the weekend after he took to Twitter to share hurtful messages directed at the LGBTQ community. Naturally, Jenelle’s co-stars were equally horrified to catch wind of David’s offensive remarks. It wasn’t long before Kailyn Lowry, Leah Messer, and more Teen Mom personalities shared their disappointment on social media. See what they said in the video above!

Farrah Abraham — who was once fired from Teen Mom OG for her participation in the adult entertainment industry — retweeted one fan’s plea to have Jenelle, 26, and David, 29, terminated from the show. “If they fired @F1abraham they should fire David and Jenelle! Homophobia is not acceptable!” the message read. “#FireJenelle.”

For her part, Kail, 25, also tweeted out a link urging her followers to sign a petition to have Jenelle and David fired. The uproar all began on Wednesday, Feb. 14, when David shared an Instagram pic of Jenelle holding a gun, hours after the deadly shooting at Florida’s Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, in which 17 people lost their lives.

Despite receiving major backlash for the gun photo, David doubled down on his opinions about the prospect of concealed carry in schools. “It only makes sense to protect our kids the proper way, the only way we know how,” David wrote, linking to a news story about a bill to allow concealed carry in South Carolina schools.

“Education is how we protect our kids,” a Twitter user wrote back. “Starts with intentional parenting.”

David then decided to attack the LGBTQ community. “And just what makes you think you have a right to tell me how to be a parent?” David fired back in a now-deleted tweet. “Because you think you know me? LMAO, why don’t you go tell the homo and transgender parents to start teaching their kids better morals. Oh, I forgot, that’s supposed to be normal.”

That’s when a third Twitter user chimed in, asking David, “Who are you to say what’s normal or what’s moral? Are you going to teach your children to hate gay and transgender people?”

“No,” David responded. “I’m going to teach them not to associate with them or be that way…If you lay down with dogs, you get up with fleas.” And later, David tweeted, “Homophobic? You really lost it now. I’m not scared [of] s–t, especially a homo.” Jenelle and David have yet to respond to their Teen Mom co-stars’ messages or the public outcry to have the couple fired from Teen Mom 2.
