‘Teen Mom OG’ Star Catelynn Baltierra Shares Update After Spending the Night in the Hospital
It sounds like Catelynn Lowell had a pretty rough night. The Teen Mom OG star took to Snapchat to reveal that she was rushed to the hospital in the early hours of Tuesday, July 3 and she spent a couple of hours in the emergency room because she took a nasty fall down some stairs and hurt her foot. Cate said that she was in a lot of pain, but she shared an update with fans and it looks like she's going to be okay. Watch the video above to see her update!
Judging from the photo, it looked like Cate's foot injury was not that bad because it was wrapped with an elastic bandage which was secured around her ankle and foot with clips. That could mean that Cate only sprained her foot or her ankle, because she probably would have needed a cast if she fractured or broke a bone. While it's unfortunate that Cate got hurt, it's a good thing that her injury was not more severe.
Cate took to Instagram just a few hours after her short hospital stay and she shared another update with fans. "Foot is feeling better today! I can put a little pressure on it. Thank god!!! Won’t be gimping around for [too] much longer," she wrote in a text post, then added in her caption, "Don’t fall down steps my friends #clumsy." Fans flooded her comments with well wishes.
Her recent hospitalization is just another incident in her recent string of health struggles. Earlier this year, Cate returned to rehab for the third time after she had struggled with mental health issues — which included anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation. But thankfully, Cate is doing a lot better now and she recently shared an inspirational message with her followers amid her journey. "You have to know that you are good enough and worth it," the quote read. "Once you master belief in yourself, no one can steal that love from you."
