Snooki Fires Back After Troll Mocks Her Leaving ‘Jersey Shore’: ‘Come at Me, Bruh’
Don’t mess with her! Nicole Polizzi — a.k.a. Snooki — totally wrecked a hater who came for her on Twitter after she announced her intention to leave Jersey Shore.
After Nicole, 32, announced on December 6 via her podcast that she was retiring from the MTV series, someone tweeted about it, “Great! NJ finally gets rid of her!” The reality star soon clapped back, “I’m still here in Jersey, Mary, and will always be. Come at me, bruh.” LOL. You go, girl!
Nicole revealed that she is leaving the cast of Jersey Shore after 10 years mostly because of her family. “I just can’t do it anymore. Literally, leaving my kids to film it is really hard on me. I try and quit every single day. I just hate being away from the kids. I don’t like partying three days in a row. It’s just not my life anymore. I want to be home with the kids. It’s just really hard for me to leave the kids and film the show.”
The TV personality and her husband, Jionni LaValle, share three children — Lorenzo, 7, Giovanna, 5, and Angelo, 6 months. We can certainly understand why she might feel like she needs to shift her priorities to them right now — she’s not a wild child anymore, after all. She’s a mom and an author and clearly has other things to focus on in the future.
Snooki also noted that the relationship between herself and her costars is different now. “Our show, Jersey Shore, is about family and making fun of each other and having a good time and laughing and just knowing that it’s all in good fun,” she said. “Lately, everything is so serious … It’s not about a team anymore. Fans are against one another when it comes to a cast member. I don’t want that.”
She could be talking about drama is between herself, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Deena Cortese and Angelina Pivarnick. Nicole and the others apparently “made some jokes about Angelina” at her wedding to Chris Larangeira on November 20 at the Park Château Estate & Gardens in East Brunswick, New Jersey. “The audience at the wedding booed them,” a source told Us Weekly. “Their jokes were all in good fun, but they didn’t land and some didn’t think they were kind.”
But even if she’s leaving the show, that doesn’t mean Snooki is leaving the Garden State, and she made that clear on Twitter. “Let the haters hate, @Snooki,” one fan responded to her epic clapback. We can’t help but agree.
