Snooki Claps Back After Troll Accuses the ‘Jersey Shore’ Star and Her Kids of Not Being ‘in Nature’

You’d think Jersey Shore fans would know by now not to mess with Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, but it seems one didn’t get the message. After the star posted a photo of two of her kids playing outside of their house, one commenter wasn’t impressed by the implication that they were out in nature. Instead of just rolling their eyes and moving on, though, they decided to speak up — but Snooki wasn’t having the hate.

“Hot messes out in nature💙❤️🌲,” the 31-year-old mom captioned the photo of her son Lorenzo and daughter Giovanna. In response, the troll wrote back, “It’s at the end of a driveway, lol, not ‘in nature.'” Though her fans were quick to come to Snooki’s defense, pointing out that she wasn’t exactly in the middle of the New York City streets either, the star handled it herself. “Sarcasm, Karen,” she snapped back.

Luckily, the photo also got plenty of love, including from Snooki’s costar Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino. “Beautiful photo, 😍” he commented on the shot. Just a few days earlier, the two MTV stars recorded a podcast episode together for “It’s Happening with Snooki & Joey” where they discussed The Situation’s prison time as well as what his life has been like since he got out. The star called it a “whole journey” as he discussed documenting his time in a tell-all book.

“I am definitely going to write a tell-all,” Mike, 37, told Snooki. “I am in the process of going through that avenue right now. … We are thinking about starting with the recovery but then going to prison.” He explained, “You have a choice when you get into prison – if you want to become better or bitter. It’s not as bad as everyone thinks. It’s something you can survive.”

The costars also discussed Ronnie Ortiz-Magro‘s recent drama with his ex and baby mama, Jen Harley. Though they’ve seen the photos of the mom’s bruises, they’re not ready to turn on their fellow Family Vacation friend. “I feel like she went out intentionally to get a photo of her,” Snooki claimed. “You don’t have to be wearing a tank top, showing your bruises and the bruise on your leg. She’s wearing booty shorts to show it off. … She wants it to be a thing. She wants to show off her bruises. We don’t know how she got the bruises.”
