‘Tis the season! Meri Brown has officially kicked off her “mini road trip” to Salt Lake City. The Sister Wives star shared a beaming photo of herself in the car on Nov. 6 and revealed that she’s headed to Utah for the weekend to get some Christmas shopping done.

“Headed on a mini road trip,” Meri captioned her post via Instagram. “I’ll be in Salt Lake this weekend for my traditional start of Christmas! Me and a friend of mine have this long standing tradition that our holidays start when we do our Christmas shopping at the Salt Lake Family Gift Show. Three days of festivity and fun! Can’t wait! :)” The holiday is a huge event for the Brown family, since Kody is the proud father to 18 kids. Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn all have children with Kody, so it’s not like they can easily cram in a last-minute trip to the store for presents on Dec. 24.

The 47-year-old TLC star told fans it was only a venue event, so she can’t purchase items online, however that didn’t deter her at all. “There’s always amazing stuff there,” she commented to an inquiring follower. On the bright side, it looks like Meri is excited about spending the upcoming holiday with her loved ones, after it was rumored that she was feuding with Kody’s other wives. As Radar pointed out, Meri has been updating her two Instagram accounts, Lularoemeribrown and MeriBrownOriginal, but neither follows Robyn or Janelle.

There’s been speculation that Meri was leaving Kody and her life as a sister wife behind, but as far as we can tell, all is well with the Brown family. Recently, Kody and his wives packed up all their belongings and moved to Arizona. “As much as we’ve loved making our home and memories here in Las Vegas, we are excited to embark on a new adventure in Flagstaff, Arizona! We are looking forwards to cooler temperatures, the mountain air, scenic views, and the slower lifestyle of Flagstaff,” the reality stars told People. Cheers to that!
