Class is in session! Sister Wives star Christine Brown was in proud mama mode when she shared new photos of her daughters Ysabel and Truely ahead of their first day of school. Both of her girls are attending classes virtually because of the coronavirus pandemic, but that didn’t stop the TLC alum from celebrating.

Ysabel, 17, looked like the spitting image of her mother while beaming with pride as she held up a sign which read, “I’m finally a SENIOR!” on Monday, August 17. In her caption, Christine acknowledged it’s going to be a tough year for 12th graders because they aren’t able to be with their friends at school.

“If we mention this around Truely, she brings up how we should be grateful girls can go to school in our country. #perspective #smartkids #homeschool,” the Arizona resident wrote.

The TV personality’s youngest daughter, 10, also shared with husband Kody Brown, started fifth grade — and she debuted playful new blue streaks in her hair.

“Truely is looking forward to seeing everyone,” Christine, 48, shared about her daughter’s online setup. “She wisely said when you’re at school you wish you were homeschooled and when you’re homeschooled you wish you were at school. But you get what you get and you don’t throw a fit!! She’s ready!”

The Brown brood has been going with the flow and doing their part to stay safe amid the COVID outbreak. Back in April, Christine and Kody, 51, got creative while celebrating their 26th anniversary because of the lockdown in place.

“We actually had this great plan to put a door in our house because our whole upstairs is a loft and we haven’t had a door to our bedroom,” she told Us Weekly about how their original plans were changed. “We went to the hardware store following social distancing rules, of course, but they didn’t have what we were looking for so we had to order it. So we had a Home Depot date.”

Kody and his other wife Janelle Brown, 51, recently enjoyed a date night of their own with daughter Savanah tagging along for some outdoor fun.

Janelle shared a rare photo of the duo on August 14 and revealed how their outings have changed amid the pandemic. “We often just load up in the car, grab a picnic or takeout and go for a drive,” the mom of six wrote. “A couple of days ago we drove up the mountain to an overlook by our local ski resort. The sunset did not disappoint.”

It’s the simple pleasures in life!
