Just about a week before Jersey Shore: Family Vacation comes back for season 3, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro decided to take a little family vacation of his own. Now that he and girlfriend Jen Harley have revealed that they’re back together, they spent the holiday as a couple with their daughter, Ariana Sky. On Instagram, the blonde beauty shared photos and videos of how the family spent their Independence Day — and you know they had to do it at the Jersey shore.

“Happy 4th of July ! 💥 🇺🇸” Jen, 31, wrote on Instagram, posting a selfie with her and Ariana and a photo of her and Ronnie. The 14-month-old looked beyond spirited as in her blue and white dress with a little red bow, not to mention the American flag-style Snapchat filter the two donned for the photo. Ronnie and Jen posed in complementary red and white outfits, wrapping their arms around each other tightly as they smiled at the camera. These two have been through some tough times, but it looks like they’ve come through them stronger than ever.

On her Instagram Story, Jen also shared that they’d visited the Carteret Stage and Boardwalk in Seaside Heights, New Jersey, where they hung out with “all [Ariana’s] aunts” as they explored the area and played on the swings. The holi-date came just days after Jen and Ronnie, 33, partied it up in Las Vegas, Nevada, with a group of their friends. On June 29 and 30, they packed on the PDA and hit the pools. And who could forget, of course, that gesture of love when Ronnie bought tater tots for his girl? “Ways to my heart,” Jen joked.

The couple has been super sweet lately. On Father’s Day, the Jersey Shore star’s baby mama posted a touching message as a tribute to him. “Gym, tan, baby has been your ritual since Ariana has been born! You have been an amazing father since day one,” she captioned an album of photos of Ronnie with his baby girl. “You have always shared the load of getting up at night, changing diapers, bath time together, sick days [and] comforting her when she’s just not having a good day. We couldn’t ask for a better dad dad dad than you! Thank you for being the best father to our daughter. We love you.”
