Costar goals. Rami Malek showed love for girlfriend Lucy Boynton after he won Best Actor in a Leading Role at the 2019 Oscars on Sunday, February 24, and it was pretty adorable.

The Bohemian Rhapsody love birds, 37, and 25, took over the eyes (and hearts) of the entire room, as they shared a romantic kiss while Rami made his way on stage to accept his award for his role as Freddie Mercury in the iconic Queen biopic film.

“My mom is in here somewhere. Oh, I love you. I love you, lady. My family, thank you for all of this. You know, my dad didn’t get to see me do any of this. But I think he’s looking down on me right now. Thank you, Queen. Thank you … for allowing me to be the tiniest part of your phenomenal, extraordinary legacy. I am forever in your debt. My crew and my cast, I love you. You are my equals, my betters. I could have never been here without you,” Rami confessed on stage.

But his speech didn’t end there. He continued to give the people exactly what they wanted to hear. “Lucy, you’re the heart of this film. You are beyond immensely talented. You have captured my heart. Thank you so much.”

This was not the first time the hot couple has packed on the PDA. But hey, we’re not complaining. The Mr. Robot actor won the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor for his role of Freddie Mercury, and to celebrate, he turned to his very own on screen and IRL love, Mary Austin, to give her a nice little peck! The dynamic duo originally met on set of the Queen movie, and went public with their relationship on January 3, 2019, at the 30th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Film Awards. After his acceptance speech for the Breakthrough Artist Award, he raved about Lucy to the audience: “You have been my ally, my confidant, my love. Thank you so much!”

Rami’s Oscars night was pretty successful especially because it ended with a bang… and we mean literally. Apparently, due to his extreme excitement, Rami slipped and fell in the audience of the Dolby Theater after accepting his award for Best Actor. According to The Los Angeles Times, house medics later confirmed the actor only slipped and didn’t take a full-on tumble off the platform. Thank god!
