When it comes to reality stars, nobody has a bigger sense of humor than Pauly DelVecchio. Case in point: The Jersey Shore prankster, 39, made quite the joke about his costar Mike Sorrentino and his wife, Lauren (née Pesce), trying for a baby while “The Situation” is behind bars. 

While the cast was playing a game of “Most Likely To” with Us Weekly, the topic of discussion became which roommate was most likely to have a baby next. Unsurprisingly, everyone agreed that Mike, 37, and Lauren, 34, were definitely the top contenders.

“I’m going to say this because I think they’re already trying,” Pauly quipped. “He’s like, ‘Lauren, catch.’ … They smuggled out his sperm and gave it to Lauren.” Of course, the popular deejay was hardly being serious, but we’re thankful for the hysterical imagery nonetheless.

Just because Mike and Lauren aren’t focusing on growing their family just yet, doesn’t mean that their relationship isn’t rock solid. “Mike and I are stronger than ever,” Lauren told Us in April. “We talk every day and we see each other at least once a week.”

As it stands, Mike is set to be released from Otisville Federal Correctional Institution in New York on September 13, 2019. The longtime MTV personality will then be sent to a halfway house where he will have to abide by some “strict rules.”

“Mike is getting released to a federal halfway house and there is no partying or drinking allowed,” federal prison consultant Dan Wise told Radar Online. “After serving a month or so in a halfway house, he will transition to home confinement, possibly for the last two weeks of his sentence.”

Home confinement, huh? Sounds like the perfect opportunity for him and Lauren to start trying for a little one!
