Here’s the Situation: Mike Sorrentino Posted a Pic With the ‘Jersey Shore’ Crew From Prison
Friends ‘till the end! Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino shared a photo of his Jersey Shore castmates visiting him in prison on Tuesday, May 14. “The comeback is always greater than the setback. #FreeSitch,” the 36-year-old captioned a photo of himself with Ronnie Oritz-Magro, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Deena Cortese, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and his wife, Lauren Sorrentino.
The MTV star was all smiles in his uniform as he posed with his friends and wife. Mike’s fans couldn’t help but show him some love in the comments section. One person wrote, “Family forever,” while another echoed, “Free my man, Sitch.” A third person chimed in, writing, “Yes! He doesn’t have to make a comeback, he never left us! We love you @mikethesituation.”
But how come Vinny Guadagnino and Pauly “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio were missing from the photo opp? Well, the duo recently visited Mike on May 3. “Tough times don’t last, tough people do. #FreeSitch,” Mike wrote on Instagram about their reunion.
The handsome hunk is currently serving an eight-month prison sentence for tax evasion at Otisville Federal Correctional Institution in New York. His release date is reportedly set for September 13, 2019.
However, it seems like the TV personality is making the most out of his time in jail. “Mike is having the time of his life,” Snooki, 31, told E! News in April. “It’s like he’s in a senior home, he’s playing bingo, he’s helping people recover in jail,” she said. “We all talk to him through an email, so I talk to him like once a week. He’s in the gym a lot, so he’s probably gonna come out ripped. You know, he’s not gonna be BDS anymore — Big Daddy Sitch — he’s gonna have his, probably, six-pack again. He’s doing good in there.” Well, he definitely looks buff, that is for sure.
As soon as Mike gets out, Pauly and Vinny are going to throw him a big party. “That goes without saying,” Vinny, 31, exclusively told In Touch in April. “Yeah. We’re definitely going to do it up big when he gets out. Definitely, big time. Big party,” Pauly, 38, echoed.
Well, only four months to go until Mike’s released. Better start planning, boys!
