The Busby family just got a little bit bigger. Adam Busby took to Instagram on Sunday, April 7, to reveal the latest addition to their brood: A puppy!

“We had such a great Hawaiian Luau party to celebrate our six little princesses’ birthday yesterday,” the OutDaughtered star, 36, gushed. “It was also the grand entrance to the girls’ new SURPRISE brother (@beauxbuzz). Our newest addition. He is a blue/ tan miniature French bulldog and his name is Beaux!”

Fans quickly began commenting on the sweet post with well-wishes for the girls and their new bro. “Amazing!! ❤️ Happy birthday to your princesses! And hello Beaux!” one person wrote. Another laughed, “The first boy in the family hahaha.” A third, however, actually thought it was a pregnancy announcement. “I read this first and was like omg a baby brother is being thrown into the mix … but alas it’s a dog!! Sweet! Happy birthday, girls!”

The quints were born on April 8, 2015, while their older sister, Blayke, made her debut on April 5, 2011. Adam’s wife, Danielle, recently opened up about their quints — who each weighed roughly two pounds when they were born. “Remembering a lot today about how fortunate I am to be the Mom to my six girls 💜,” the 35-year-old reflected on a photo kissing Riley. “The fact that five of them were 28 weekers and lived in the NICU for 3 months. There isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t think about those NICU days … the days I couldn’t kiss them, couldn’t hold them … but these are my ‘now days’ and Mommy has KISSES FOR DAYS AND DAYS.”

And while the pup *did* come as quite the surprise, they famous fam hinted in January 2018 that they may get a fur baby soon … ish. “It’s so sad seeing the many animals displaced and affected by Hurricane Harvey at local animal shelters,” Adam wrote on Instagram at the time. “We may not be quite ready for one of our own just yet, but we were able to spend a few hours at a local shelter walking and playing with a few. The girls sure seemed to enjoy it and hopefully, it was a great change of pace for the animals. #outdaughtered”

Welp, it looks like they finally gave in to their daughters’ wishes. Congrats to this sweet fam. More pics, please!
