New Look, Who Dis? Nicolas Cage Is Nearly Unrecognizable at Premiere for ‘Running With the Devil’

Making an appearance! Nicolas Cage was practically unrecognizable while stopping by the red carpet for the Running with the Devil film premiere at the Writers Guild Theater in Beverly Hills on Monday, September 16. The actor showed off his scruffy mustache and beard while posing for photos with his son, Weston Cage, at the event. He also rocked a fedora and jean jacket, which added the finishing touches to his rugged new look.

Several fans were flabbergasted after taking a gander at Nicolas’ transformation and they took to social media to share their thoughts. “Just here to interrupt your regular programming with this picture of Nicolas Cage,” one tweeted. “Nicolas Cage looks like this now, and honestly, we should be happy for him,” another wrote. “I’m totally on board for Grizzly Adams Nic Cage,” a third chimed in.

The Oscar award-winning star’s new movie will be hitting theaters on September 20. Nicolas, 55, will be starring as “The Cook” and the thrilling drama is about “the CEO of an International conglomerate who sends two of his most regarded executives to investigate why shipments of cocaine are being hijacked and over cut somewhere on the supply chain,” according to IMDB.

Nicolas previously revealed that he only planned to act for a few more years during an interview in 2018.  “In terms of producing and directing, yes, I’m getting back into production,” he said to reporters at a press conference in Puerto Rico.

“My company, Saturn Films, is involved in all the movies I’m doing now. And directing is something I’d look forward to down the road, because  right now I’m primarily a film performer and I’m going to continue doing that for three or four more years and I’d like to focus more on directing,” the star continued.

Nicolas has also been making headlines in recent months due to his relationship status change. The star filed for an annulment in March 2019, just days after he apparently tied the knot with his younger girlfriend, Erika Koike.
