We finally know some of Nicki Minaj‘s wedding plans! Three weeks after the 36-year-old rap superstar confirmed she and her controversial boyfriend Kenneth Petty obtained a marriage license, she took to her Queen Radio show to fill fans in on how the nuptials are going to go down.

“Now we have the marriage license and from that time we have 90 days to get married. Before the 90 days is over, I will be married and I’m very happy about that,” she explained to listeners, but it seems like what she’s really talking about is getting legally married, versus having a big ceremony, which will come later.

“I don’t wanna do the big wedding now. I want us to get married now and then we’ll do the big wedding later.” So, when will all of this go down, then? “I’ll be married before my album comes out, but I’ll probably have my wedding after my album comes out.”

So far, Nicki has not announced the release date of her fifth studio album, but fans have been patiently waiting since her last album, Queen, dropped in 2018. She confirmed that she was working on one while visiting The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in July 2019, saying, “You’re the first to find out … of course there’s a new album.” Fans were certainly excited to learn in August that the release is less than three months away.

Others loved that idea, with one joking, “Omg Christmas album Yass 😋” However, it’s more likely that the album will be here by the end of October, considering Nicki has 90 days to get married from when she pulled those papers in July. Of course, others still want more info. “U got to drop the name of the album please😍😍,” begged one fan.

While Kenneth’s criminal past has drawn a lot of negative attention from fans, Nicki seems head over heels and refuses to let anyone talk bad about him. “S/O to #BlackGirlTragic I mean black girl magic,” she wrote on a racy photo with her boo. “Never forget there r 7 billion ppl in the world but u choose to interrupt ur important life to go on another black girl page to project ur own insecurities. #KissMyAssAndMyAnus 👅👅👅.” Looks like she’s in it for the long haul!
