Talk about timing! Country singer Miranda Lambert reportedly met her new husband, Brendan McLoughlin, three days before he welcomed his first child with another woman. It looks like there was an instant connection between the two, since Miranda and Brendan recently tied the knot.

According to Radar, the pair first crossed paths on the set of Good Morning America on November 2, 2018. Miranda, 35, hit the stage to perform “Got My Name Changed Back” with her Pistol Annies bandmates. The trio was also paying a visit to promote their album, Interstate Gospel. Brendan, 27, works as a police officer with the New York Police Department and he had been assigned to the South Midtown Precinct at the time, which happened to be where Miranda was.

Only three days later, Brendan’s ex Kaihla Rettinger reportedly gave birth to their son named Landon. The cop reportedly posted a since-deleted photo, where he’s cradling his newborn captioned, “Blessed to have a healthy son. Welcome my boy, Landon James McLoughlin 11/5/18.”

Fans have been eager to learn more about the new man in Miranda’s life, especially after she revealed her big life change on February 16. “In honor of Valentine’s Day I wanted to share some news,” she began her sentimental announcement. “I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you Brendan McLoughlin for loving me for…. me. ❤️#theone.”

When Busy Philipps heard the exciting news, it sparked an old memory of hers since she thought that Brendan looked familiar. The actress looked through her camera roll and posted an old photo of the Staten Island native that she took in December 2017 while she was outside of the GMA studios. “This is the hot cop that Miranda Lambert married,” she wrote on February 17.

Miranda was previously married to country star Blake Shelton for four years before they ultimately divorced in July 2015. Afterwards, she dated Anderson East and Evan Felker, but both ended in a split.
