“Miranda doesn’t have many regrets,” continues the insider about the “Automatic” singer, 36. “But now, she’s with the love of her life, looks back and thinks to herself, ‘What was I doing with Blake?’”
The Grammy winner began dating Blake, 44, in 2006 before getting engaged in 2010. They were married the following year but announced their split in July 2015. A few months later, Blake confirmed he was dating fellow Voice judge Gwen Stefani while Miranda moved on with Evan Felker. They dated for a few months before going their separate ways in August 2018.
She opened up about her and Blake’s high-profile uncoupling a few years later. “When everyone’s worried about your personal life, it makes you feel like, ‘Well, if you could just spend some of that time talking about my actual art, that would be great!’” the Texas native told Health in November 2019. “But I guess I asked for it, getting into this business. I’m never gonna get used to the public eye in that way.”
Miranda shocked fans when she announced she and Brendan, 27, got married in January 2019 just two months after they met. “In honor of Valentine’s Day, I wanted to share some news,” she captioned a photo of herself wearing a wedding gown in February 2019. “I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you, Brendan McLoughlin, for loving me for … me. #TheOne.”
These days, the country crooner is still in marital bliss with the former NYPD officer. “We’re pretty much newlyweds since we’ve only been married a year and a half, but we’ve already survived a pandemic so I think we’re golden,” she said on Taste of Country Nights on July 22.
The couple’s quarantine has been pretty average to most people around the world. She added, “He loves to clean, and I knew that but it has really come in handy … The whole routine: make a meal, clean it up, make a meal, clean it up. We’ve had fun.”
It looks like Miranda ended up exactly where she was supposed to be!
