Miranda Lambert and Husband Brendan McLoughlin Go on Epic Cross-Country Road Trip: ‘Glamp Life!’
Time for an adventure! Miranda Lambert and her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, embarked on an epic cross-country road trip to visit family while embracing the great outdoors. The country star, 36, shared details of their journey via Twitter on Monday, May 18.
“An update on glamp life,” the blonde beauty wrote as she posed in front of their camping van. “We spent the last week taking #TheSherriff on his first road trip. Camped our way to see our NY family. [Six] days, [four] states, 1,000 miles].” She added the two had traveled from Nashville to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, to Virginia, to Pennsylvania then New York. She was thrilled to share she backed their trailer into their campsite all by herself.
In a series of tweets, Miranda highlighted some of her favorite memories from their road trip in addition to a few sweet pictures. She gushed about driving on the open road and how Brendan, 28, made her favorite campfire meal just the way she likes it. “Brendan has cooking in this cast iron down to an art,” she wrote on a video of the chef at work.
The “Little Red Wagon” singer and the former New York City police officer wed in January 2019 after only three months of dating. They met while the artist was making an appearance of Good Morning America, where Brendan often worked. She kept their nuptials a secret until she revealed the big news on Valentine’s Day of that year.
After over a year of marriage, the couple is looking to expand their family. “Brendan and Miranda don’t see the point in waiting around to have children. With everyone being on lockdown, the timing couldn’t be better!” an insider exclusively told In Touch on May 13. The songstress is “eager to start a family of her own” and definitely has a case of “baby fever.”
Brendan, who is already a father to his 18-month-old son, Landon, from a previous relationship, is on the “same page” as Miranda and is “thrilled” she has developed such a close bond with his son. “Miranda’s such a caring, nurturing loving person, and that side of her personality really shines through when she’s with Landon,” the source shared.
