Miley Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter Enjoy Lunch Date With Mom Tish Cyrus Amid Dating Rumors
Meeting mom! Miley Cyrus and her new rumored girlfriend, Kaitlynn Carter, enjoyed a lunch date with Miley’s mom, Tish Cyrus, on Saturday, August 17. Miley, 26, and Kaitlynn, 30, and Tish, 52, were spotted at BOA Steakhouse on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, and they arrived in the same black car together.
According to photos obtained by In Touch, the “Nothings Breaks Like a Heart” singer sat in the front seat next to her mom while the Hills: New Beginnings star sat in the backseat.
This marks the second time this week that the blonde beauties were spotted together — they were also seen hanging out on Wednesday, August 14, according to Us Weekly. Insiders exclusively revealed to In Touch that they had “been friends for a while,” but they first sparked dating rumors on August 10, when they were spotted packing on the PDA and making out in the sun on their Italian vacation last weekend.
The timing of their relationship shocked fans since their kissing photos surfaced on the same day that sources confirmed Miley’s split from her husband, Liam Hemsworth. “Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time,” Miley’s rep said in a statement to People. “Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”
Just one week before their Italian getaway, Kaitlynn and her husband, Brody Jenner, also split up. “They love and respect one another, and know that this is the best decision for their relationship moving forward,” Brody’s rep Scott Newman tells In Touch in a statement on August 2.
Since then, an insider revealed to Us Weekly that their recent breakups are actually what brought Miley and Kaitlynn closer together. “Her and Miley became close within the past few weeks because they connected over their breakups and leaned on each other,” the source said.
