Kaitlynn Carter ‘Likes’ an Instagram Post From a Miley Cyrus Fan That Supports Their New Relationship
One fan commented on Instagram that they stan Kaitlynn Carter’s new relationship with Miley Cyrus following their respective breakups from Brody Jenner and Liam Hemsworth, and the blonde beauty clearly appreciated the support.
“Just wanted to let you know that you don’t deserve all this hate from people who claim to be Miley’s ‘fans’!” a fan account for the singer wrote on Wednesday, August 14. “You and Miley have every right to do whatever you want! If you make Miley happy, then I like you! Miley’s happiness and mental health is all that matters to me!” Of course, The Hills: New Beginnings star, 30, couldn’t help but “like” the sweet message on social media.
Several other fans revealed they were into their new relationship, too. One person wrote, “You and Miley are the cutest thing in this world,” while another echoed, “We love you so much. Take care of Miley, please.”
However, there were some people that were unhappy with their new romance. “She’s just with Miley to become famous,” one user wrote. A second person said, “I agree. She is trying WAY too hard. I think Brody is so much better off without her.”
Kaitlynn and the pop star, 26, were spotted canoodling and making out while they were on vacation in Italy on August 9. The duo — who were also joined by Miley’s older sister Brandi Cyrus — posted several photos of themselves relaxing on a boat together.
Multiple sources revealed to In Touch that Miley and Kaitlynn actually met through their estranged husbands who often surf and hang out together. “Miley will go to Kaitlynn’s house late night — dropped off in an SUV — and spend hours there. They’ve been friends for a while,” an insider exclusively dished. “This also isn’t their first trip together. They were in England last month together but didn’t post pics together, just separates of them each at Stonehenge.”
The “Malibu” crooner seemingly alluded to her ex in an Instagram post one day after it was revealed she was back on the market, writing that “change is inevitable.” Meanwhile, the Australian hunk, 29, spoke out post-split on social media a few days later. “Hi, all,” he wrote on August 12. “Just a quick note to say that Miley and I have recently separated, and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward. This is a private matter, and I have not made, nor will I be making, any comments to any journalists or media outlets. Any reported quotes attributed to me are false. Peace and love.”
Brody, 35, also hinted at his heartache on August 11. “Don’t let yesterday take up too much of today,” he wrote on Instagram.
Miley and Kaitlynn seemed to bond over their mutual heartbreak. “Her and Miley became close within the past few weeks because they connected over their breakups and leaned on each other,” a source told Us Weekly.
Well, it seems like Miley’s fandom approves of Kaitlynn. Hopefully, the rest of the world will, too.
