Liam Hemsworth and Model Maddison Brown ‘Just Hit It Off’: ‘It’s a Totally Natural Fit’
It looks like Liam Hemsworth is on to the next one — and she might just be a better fit, too. The actor was spotted holding hands with model Maddison Brown in NYC on October 10, and according to an insider close to Liam, the potential couple is a smart match.
“Liam and Maddison met recently in L.A. and just hit it off,” the source told In Touch exclusively. “They have a lot in common — being a fellow Aussie, [being] actors, [being] family-oriented and loving the beach are just a few. It’s a totally natural fit, and they get on really well.”
According to TMZ, the pair ate lunch together at Sant Ambroeus, enjoying drinks before they walked around the city on their Thursday afternoon excursion. Definitely sounds like a solid date to us … but considering it’s only been a few months since the 29-year-old filed for divorce from his estranged wife, Miley Cyrus, we’re curious about the staying power of what’s to come.
Miley, 25, and Liam got married in December 2018, in an intimate ceremony in the pop star’s native Nashville. But by August, they were already calling it quits amid reports of marital problems.
“Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time,” a rep for Miley told Us Weekly at the time. “Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of the animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”
Despite the fact that this is the first time Liam has been spotted trying to move on, his ex didn’t have a difficult time of that herself. Miley fell into a fling with The Hills: New Beginnings star Kaitlynn Carter, which seemed to be pretty solid until the pair split just two months after hooking up.
Since then, the Bangerz singer has started getting cozy with another Aussie — singer Cody Simpson. Romance rumors started swirling when the duo was spotted locking lips over acai bowls on October 4. Since then, he’s shown up all over her social.
Seems like it’s Liam’s turn to find his own post-marriage fling, too, no?
